Our Savannah Team
Julian Mathis is the Vice President for Savannah Staffing and has over 16 years of experience in the staffing and recruiting industry. Julian’s responsibilities at Savannah Staffing include managing operations, key accounts and business development. Prior to Savannah Staffing Julian was known in the industry as a start- up expert and is especially skilled with managing large, high volume accounts.
Julian has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Georgia State University in Atlanta and is an avid collector of antique books and maps.
Lane McCulley provides operations and administrative support. She wears many hats including payroll administrator, employee relations contact and staffing coordinator. You may even received a customer service call from her when she puts on her Customer Service/Inside Sales hat!
She was was born and raised in Savannah and spent most of her childhood living in Savannah and Statesboro. After spending 7 years in Middle Georgia, Lane moved back to Savannah with her husband and 2 children. Lane received her BBA – Management from Macon State College
Al Templeton began his career as a Project Manager for National Development Corporation, a North Carolina land development firm. Joining an Atlanta based Executive Search Firm in 1996; Al headed a Business Unit specializing in the recruitment of Civil Engineers. This experience led him to co-found The River Group, Inc. in Bluffton, SC and Savannah Staffing, Inc. in Savannah, GA. Al is a recognized expert in the Staffing Industry specializing in recruiting, operations, industry research, project management, training and business development. He has also enjoyed the opportunity to bring his industry contacts together to facilitate very successful mergers and acquisitions.
Al was born in Savannah, Georgia and attended Benedictine Military School. He later received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington, NC. An avid real estate investor, he also holds a Real Estate Broker’s License and is a Certified Real Estate Instructor.
Mark Hyman, a partner and Co-Founder of The River Group and Savannah Staffing has 25 years of corporate human resources management and executive search experience. For 9 years Mark was the Division VP for one of the prominent recruiting firms in the southeast. He developed a client following that is still with him today. His love of the Recruiting and Staffing industry and dedication to “servicing the customer” has driven his desire to be the founder of 3 Staffing Firms – The Mark Hyman Group, The River Group and Savannah Staffing.
Mark’s functional knowledge spans the corporate structure, with particular expertise in organizational change, training, human resources and sales and marketing.
